Submissions are encouraged. I am looking for previously unpublished poems in any style and length, although preferably under 40 lines. I am also interested in reviews of poetry, interviews with poets and critical essays on poetry.
I am seeking memorable writing. That which lingers in my thoughts long after the initial reading. I am hoping for poems that are lucid, contemporary and intelligent.
Please send your work in the body of an email: 1-5 of your best poems or a single article/ review etc, thoroughly revised and proof read in a regular font. Simultaneous submissions are great providing that you play the game and inform me of publication elsewhere in good time.
Remember to submit your work in the body of an email. Attachments will NEVER be opened. In the subject line type - Words-Myth submission' followed by your name - e.g. Words-Myth submission - Sue E Sidal. Also include a BRIEF third person biography, detailing any past publications, awards or literary achievements. I will aim for the quickest turn around possible. Poems posted just after a deadline may have to wait a little longer to be read but generally I aim to report back within two months (often sooner). Payment for published work comes in the form of a warm and fuzzy feeling somewhere to the west of the bile duct, as you wallow in the glory and satisfaction of having had something published in the finest online poetry journal around.
